Hundred of spam topics were posted in the past few weeks, so I have completely disabled new member registration in an attempt to stop spam. The next step will be making them completely read-only.
I want to keep the forums up because they're used for the news, and some people do still visit the site.

Unfortunately, that new video group is on hold indefinitely, as you probably guessed.

Due to copyright violations, the ao5t YouTube account has been "suspended." Unfortunately, that means most videos are now inaccessible (some older ones are probably still on ZStreet or Google Video though).

Personally, I (and many others) think it is a short-sighted move by the copyright holders because fan works like these can actually make their work more valuable. Alas, it is legally their (the copyright-holding record companies) right, and YouTube is more interested in lucrative deals with them than fighting over some music videos.

The true mark of a dead forum is when spambots descend. Unfortunately, that has happened to us. I apologize if anyone saw it; it started a couple of weeks ago.
I have required member e-mail activation and increased our CAPTCHA difficulty; if that does not help, I may just have to disable posting.
The fact that no posts have been made since July makes that easier

Can you think of a reason I posted this (to dead forums) right after the Gatlinburg video? Hmm...

We are now officially YouTube Partners, after a long, long process.

This means:

-Selected videos have Google Ads by them. If people click on them we get $0.10 per click. Once we reach $100, we get a check in the mail from Google.
-We get 2 banners, one on our YouTube channel, and also on every video page, above the description
-On our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/imitateproductions, the featured video automatically plays by itself.
-We get more publicity because we placed into the Partners category on the community.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us thus far. It's been a fun ride but we're no where near close to stopping.
